Q: How did you meet Lance?
A: I met Lance when I was dating his brother Brian. The Spinks family treated me like part of their family and I will always remember that and all the good times we shared during those years.
I am so sorry to hear the news of his passing and pray for his family and friends. Such a loss of a good sole!

Q: How would you describe Lance to someone who had never met them?
A: Sorry!! You missed the most caring passionate Man ever! He just always asked if you were okay he always stayed calm and worked you through the process! He was Nicknamed the Doctor and in so many ways he was to hundreds of people he mentored guided developed and loved! You will be greatly missed my friend and when I join you we will laugh together as we always did! I know you can hear me--- You are a Legend and a Statement of what is good! Love you Man!!!

It was a blessing to see my good friend Lance at our recent 50-year High School Reunion, I'm so glad we had the opportunity to spend time together. The weekend was full of laughter and fellowship as we reminisced about our younger years, poked good gestured fun at each other, and talked about our plans for the future. Lance spoke very proudly about his son as well as the hands on remodeling he was doing to "the camp" in retirement. Our high school crew spoke of plans to get together again this winter and I was really, really looking forward to seeing Lance again. We've all lost a good man and best friend who brought joy to everyone's lives.. Picture is from the recent high school reunion,

So many happy memories of Thanksgivings and New Year's Eves spent with Lance and Deb, both at their home in Clifton Park and ours in Hanover, MA. Both my son Isaac and late husband Harris always said Lance would be the guy they'd want with them if they were ever lost in the woods. He was a precision turkey carver, shown in this photo from Thanksgiving 2015 where he assisted Harris. He later commandeered the clean-up while many of us napped in a tryptophan stupor.

Lance was a great and genuine man! He trained and mentored me my entire time at Firestone. Never had a bad word to say about anyone and was always willing to help no matter what. He will be missed

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Lance?
A: Lance is one of if not the most loyal and trustworthy friend I have ever had and I will miss him dearly! Just don't come across a person of his stature and character in most lives! I was lucky to have Lance be a big part of mine! Miss you Doctor and love you always my dear friend!
