Wilton NY - Lois Lidster Seabury, 84, of Wilton NY and a former resident of Suffern NY passed away peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2011 at Mary's Haven in Saratoga Springs, NY. Born in Suffern NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marion Lidster. After graduating from Suffern High School she was employed at the Lafayette Bank and Trust, and was the former secretary to the Suffern Presbyterian Church. She worked until her retirement for the Town of Ramapo in the Receiver of Taxes Office. She was predeceased by her husband and childhood sweetheart Thomas A. (Tom) Seabury after 62 'and a half' years of marriage. She is survived by her son, Randall (Randy) Seabury (Patricia Discini) of Suffern and Lake Pleasant NY, her daughters Janet Seabury Pressley of Saratoga Springs NY, Joanne S. Buyce of Wilton NY, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her brother Wallace E. (Laura Elizabeth 'Betty') Lidster of Asheville NC, her sister-in-law Helen Seabury Rose of Suffern NY, several nieces and nephews. At Lois's request relatives and friends will be invited to join the family for a celebration of her life and interment at the Gerald B. H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylervillle, NY in the near future. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to: Mary's Haven, 35 New St., Saratoga Springs NY 12866.
