Walter died at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 14, 2011.
He was owner of Jaskot Plumbing and Heating in Merrick
Walter was a life member of the Knights of Columbus and a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish
Survivors include his wife of 68 years Catherine Jaskot, his children: Agnes Mohr, Cathy Heeseman and Walter Jaskot, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and nieces and nephews,
Calling hours will be Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Hungerford & Clark Funeral Home 110 Pine Street, Freeport, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 19, 2011 at 9:45 am at Sacred Heart Church, 720 Merrick Avenue, North Merrick.
Committal service will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery. Westbury, NY
