Uncle Bill... Wayne felt so proud to have you as not only an uncle but godfather. You were always there for him while he was growing up. We remember sneaking away to get married, but making sure that you and Aunt Ann were the next in line to know after our parents. You were a special, loving uncle who helped us both so much; we appreciated all that you did for us. You sure could throw a great party! Nobody could cook chicken on a grill like you could! And, we loved doggy sitting Spike for you when you traveled; there was never a dull moment when Spike was around. We also remember how delighted you were to come home from your one California trip to find out we taught Spike how to climb stairs and sleep in bed instead of on the floor. As the years passed and our lives took differing paths, we never forgot you and were always thrilled to see you at family functions. You will be in our hearts forever.

Uncle Bill, I'm sorry for our family, but I know you lived a great life. I fondly remember coming out from California and spending time a the camp at Saratoga Lake with you and Aunt Annie. Picking wild strawberries and playing with my cousins.
