Ballston Spa, NY Eleanor A. Metcalf 86 Eleanor died at Saratoga Hospital on Tuesday, October 19, 2010. She was born in Ballston Spa, NY. She was the daughter of the late Clinton and Bessie Smith Clothier. She worked as a Knitter at the former Ackshand Knitting Mill, Ballston Spa. Eleanor enjoyed square dancing and her garden of flowers. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Clothier, her sisters, Virginia Burgess and Doris Kinnicutt, her husband Merrill E. Metcalf who died on July 3, 2010. Survivors include her nieces Dawn (Raymer) Bunyan of Ballston Spa; Sandy Bruce of Syracuse, NY, Karen (Gary) Lee of Old Forge, NY, Doreen (Donald) Clemens of Galway, her sister-in-law Mildred Clothier Calling hours will be Monday, October 25, 2010 from 12:30PM to 1:30PM followed by services 1:30 PM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.
