Armand died at Saratoga Hospital on Saturday, August 7, 2010.
He was born in St Valentine, Italy. He was the son of the late Peter and Jennie Beatrice Carbone.
He retired from the New York State Department of Transportation, Albany, NY.
Armand was co-proprietor of the Milton Barber Shop with his brothers Augustine and Angelo for many years.
He also served in the U.S Army during World War II.
Armand was a member of V.F.W. Post #358, American Legion Post #234, Ballston Spa and
the Ballston Spa Country Club
Armand was an avid golfer and a numismatist (coin collector)
He was predeceased by his brothers, Armeto and Angelo, his sister, Marian Carbone and Argentine Zapolski and his wife Theresa L. Carbone who died April 28, 2007
Survivors include his daughter: Cheryl (Bill) Dibble of Mechanicville, and his son: Edward M. Carbone of Greenfield; his brother: Augustine Carbone of Ballston Spa; his sisters: Carmella Mangona and Janet DeSantis both of Saratoga Springs; his granddaughter, Kelly Dibble and grandson, Nicholas Dibble; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue.
Committal service with full military honors will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 or to St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY 12020
