Obituary of Merrill E. Metcalf

Ballston Spa, NY Merrill E. Metcalf 86 Merrill died at Saratoga Hospital on Saturday, July 3, 2010. He was born in Schenectady, NY. He was the son of the late Frank and Matilda Johnston Metcalf. He worked as a Service Technician for Roland J. Downs, Scotia, NY for many years. He also served in the Army during World War II. He was predeceased by his brother, George Metcalf and his sister, Hazel Hoey. Survivors include his wife Eleanor A. Metcalf who he married on May 6, 1950, his sisters: Eleanor Penistan of Chestertown, Laura Seib of Schenectady, his niece and caregiver Dawn (Raymer) Bunyan and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM followed by services at 11:00 am at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.
