Scooter died at Saratoga Hospital on Friday, June 18, 2010 surrounded by his loving family
He was born in Town Of Palatine, NY. He was the son of the late Clarence G. and Irene Westerman Le Roy.
Scooter served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
He was Manager of Western Union Telegraph from 1957 to 1971 and worked for Stewarts Shops from 1971 to 1974
Scooter was Proprietor of Traveling Trixie Catering, Ballston Spa from 1974 until his retirement.
He enjoyed his grandchildren and the NY Yankees
He was predeceased by his twin sister, Florence Le Roy
Survivors include his wife of 52 years Patricia Le Roy, his daughters: Charlene (John) Padula of Averill Park, Tricia (Darren) Barkman of Schenectady, Becky (Mike) Embry of Kentucky and Jennifer Sutherland of Ballston Spa, his sons: Mark (Kelly) Le Roy and Robert (Shannon) Gannon both of Ballston Spa, Jerry Bobe of Brooklyn, NY; his sister: Janet Glastetter of Colonie and brother: Harold Le Roy of Fort Plain, NY; Sister-in-law, Pauline Ryan of Caroga Lake; Twelve grandchildren, several nieces and nephews
Calling hours will be Monday, June 21 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa
Services will be on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm at United Methodist Church, 101 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.
Committal service with full military honors will follow at Ballston Spa Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Scooter's oncology doctors and the A-3 nurses and aides at Saratoga hospital.
