Ballston Spa, NY Loretta I. Cook 92 Loretta died at home with her family on Saturday, May 22, 2010. She was born in Ballston Spa, NY. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lottie Gray Miller. She worked as a Seamstress at the former Ackshand Knitting Mill, Ballston Spa. She was predeceased by her husband Louis A. Cook who died on August 31, 2002 and her brothers David Miller and Leland "Mike" Miller Survivors include her sons: Louis (Joyce) Cook, Lars (Soffia) Cook, Noel (Charmaine) Cook all of Ballston Spa and Yule (Barbara) Cook of Middle Grove; her nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM followed by services at 12:00 PM at the United Methodist Church, Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Committal service will follow at Ballston Spa Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Leonard Gelman and his staff for their care and special thanks to her care givers; daughter-in-laws Barbara Cook and Soffia Cook. The family suggests memorial contributions in Loretta's name be made to the United Methodist Church, 101 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY or to a memorial of one's choice.
