Stephen died at Albany Medical Center in Albany on Saturday, May 15, 2010.
He was born in New Brunswick, NJ. He was the son of the late Stephen and Julia Popovich Uveges.
He also served in the Army during World War II.
He worked at Johnson and Johnson Company, North Brunswick, NJ for many years
He was predeceased by his wife Jayne C. Uveges who died on April 24, 2004.
Survivors include his children: Kathleen Conrad of Malta; Arlene Uveges of Schenectady; His grandchildren Christine (David) Gutierrez and Christopher Conrad; a great grandson, David Gutierrez.
Calling Hours will be on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by Services at 1:00PM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.
Committal service with full military honors will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery.
