I will always remember Mr. Doescher sitting on his big white porch where the center of Wilton used to be! He was such an intelligent man with a wonderful sense of humor. Peace be with all of you at this difficult time.

Bunny was among the earliest influences that encouraged me and inspired me to want to become a stand up comic and actor. The pun tournaments were ferocious and always sharpened your wits. The jam sessions that happened in Bunny's living room when I was a teenager were legendary in Wilton. We had so much fun over the years. One Easter I knocked on the Doeschers front door and he answered and I said, 'Happy Easter Bunny'...to which he groaned. "Gotcha!" I said. Ironic that he crossed over just a few days before Easter. Guess he didn't need to hear that joke another time. Thank you Bunny for all the years of laughter and jokes and wonderful raconteur stories, and more importantly making your home my refuse from my own where gossip, and jokes and pun tournaments happened over cups of coffee in the kitchen and for the love I always felt there. And for helping me escape time and time again. My heart and love goes out to all of you in this sad time and especially to you Kathleen. I send my condolences and many many hugs and lots of love. I love you and know you are surrounded by your family and the love of the community to help you through this difficult time. Godspeed your healing hearts!! Love, Corrine (Los Angeles)

I always enjoyed talking with Bunny. The conversations were always enlightening, especially when he talked of "old Wilton". My thoughts are with each of you. Bunny was a great man.
