Obituary of Lucian "Oogie" Caputo

Lucian “Oogie” Caputo passed away on April 24, 2024. He was 96 years old. Lucian was born and raised in Ballston Spa, NY. He moved to Branford, CT to live with his family. Lucian was predeceased by his beloved wife of 25 years, Gloria. Lucian is survived by his 2 daughters, Nancy (John) and Clare (Tom), 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Lucian served in the Army, deployed to Japan during the Korean war. He was always a great sportsman and belonged to a bowling league for many years. Oogie was a selfless man and always volunteered his time throughout the community and at St Mary's church and school. Lucian was a true gentleman. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was loved and adored by his family, and all enjoyed his great sense of humor. Oogie had an endless devotion to his family and the time spent with him will be forever cherished. He will be missed dearly.
