Joan died at home, surrounded by her loving family by her side, Saturday, February 3, 2024.

She was born in Ballston Spa, NY. She was the daughter of the late Elmer W. and Marion M. Moore Blake.

Joan was a devoted caring wife, mother, grandmother great grandmother, great-great,

grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt.

She was predeceased by sons Joseph Nowhitney, Albert Nowhitney, III, Thomas Nowhitney, Stephen Nowhitney, her daughter Paula Bills, and her husband Albert Nowhitney, Jr.

Joan is survived her children Russell (Dorothy) Nowhitney, Lisa Nowhitney, Frank Nowhitney, her daughter in law Shannon Ponton, her nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.

Committal services will be in North Milton Cemetery on April 6, 2024, at 10AM.
