Obituary of Christine A. Browning

Town of Ballston, NY Christine A. O'Brien-Browning, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 14, 2024, after her second battle with breast cancer. Born in Saratoga Springs, NY, Christine graduated from Saratoga Springs High School and Albany Business College. She worked at Skidmore College until the early 1990's. Christine loved spending time with her grandchildren more than anything in the world. They were the light of her life. Everyone who met Christine loved her for her kind and giving heart. She was fondly nicknamed the Cookie Monster for her love of sweets! She was happiest doing for others. She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Helen C. O'Brien, three brothers Peter, Richard and David O'Brien and sister Sharon Chamberlain. Christine is survived by daughter Sibyl Masten (Cory), grandchildren Faith Sivik and Cain Sivik aka "The Favorite", a brother Michael O'Brien, nieces and nephews Donna Gunya, Donald Vargo (Anne), Daphne Vargo, Leslie Shea (Michael), Adam O'Brien, and several great nieces and nephews.
