Jonesville, NY Lois M. DeAprix 89 Lois died on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 She was born in the Town of Shirley, MA. She was the daughter of the late Myron and Ida May Wayman Woodbeck. She worked at St. Clare's Hospital, Schenectady as a Nurse's Aide. Lois was a member of the Jonesville United Methodist Church, the Jonesville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a volunteer for the American Red Cross Lois was a caring and loving woman, who always contributed to her community and her warm heart touched many. She was predeceased by her husband Louis DeAprix who died on December 16, 2003, a son Leroy LaQuee, brothers Ronald Woodbeck, Lloyd Hayden and two sisters. Survivors include her daughters: Donna Wells of Greenwich and Anna Tuller of Ballston Spa her son: Ronald Pixley of Schenectady, her 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, several Great-Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, January 4, 2010 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM followed by services at 2:00PM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Burial will be in the spring at Jonesville Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
