Obituary of Catherine (Dolly) Robens

Catherine (Dolly) Robens 90 Catherine died on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at home in Debary, Florida. She was born in Ballston Spa, NY. She was the daughter of the late Carmello Beninati and Maria Pellegrino Beninati. She graduated from Ballston Spa High School and retired from the Jamesway Department store after 20 years. Catherine was a member of the Ballston Spa Senior Citizens Group, and St. Mary's Church, Ballston Spa. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul E. Robens, son, John E. Robens, a brother, Salvatore Beninati and daughter-in-law Jaime Robens. Survivors include her sons: Paul J. Robens, Carl (Janet) Robens, Frank (Bonny) Robens; her brother: Frank Beninati, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Catherine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to bowl, visit the casino, participate in weekly senior citizen meetings and spent hours playing cards/games with family and friends. Calling hours for Catherine will be held on Friday August 4, 2023 from 5:00 to7:00 PM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on August 5, 2023 at 930 AM at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue. Committal service will follow the mass at St. Mary's Cemetery, Ballston Spa.
