Clifton Park, NY Bertha M. O'Hara Bertha O'Hara, loving wife and mother passed away peacefully on Monday August 16, at the age of 83. Bertha was born on January 5, 1938 in Ballston Spa, NY and grew up in Middle Grove, NY. She spent many years working at the Gran Prix restaurant in Round Lake as a waitress and owned and operated a restaurant in Stillwater with her husband Robert O'Hara. She raised three sons from a previous marriage, Douglas, Daniel, and Paul Mark Herrington. Bertha had a passion for elder health and taught exercise and nutrition for many years at the Saratoga Senior Center. She also loved off-roading and camping and organized many camping trips in the Adirondack mountains with family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Chester and Ethel Thompson, her brothers Richard Thompson, Edward Eichorst, her sister Beverly Kuhn, her sons Daniel and Paul Mark Herrington. Bertha is survived by her husband Bob and her son Douglas, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and step-daughter Veronica Barber Calling hours will be Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.
