You could always pick Tony out of a crowd with his cowboy hat and paint horse. I'll never forget years ago my husband and I were on our way home from Lake George passing though Lake Luzerne. I saw a group of horses and a cowboy hat. I told my husband to stop, Tony is there. He was camping with his horse and stopped for ice cream. He invited us to come back with our horses. That is how we started camping with the horses. Thanks Tony

I want to extend a big hug to Tony Pirrone but I can't. So instead... I'm sending out a big hug to Tony's kids, extended family, good friends, dance queens and band partners. It feels stunning that Tony has left. His Spirit is wanted here with us. Thanks to family shares, it is clear that Tony continued to be curious and open to "what's next." He was a gentle soul. He was an explorer. He was fearless. He was without ego. He was interested in YOU and what you thought, wasn't he? During these coming times, his gentle soul will be with us. He loved many, and made us look good on the dance floor. He's now a cherished member of Heavens Great Dance Hall and Bluegrass Band. Go visit where he played. Go to the library. Take a dance lesson. Read a book. Ask a friend about themselves and really listen. Rescue a horse. Love your family. Start a new hobby. Reinvent yourself. You'll feel his Spirit, and feel a hug in your heart. God Bless.
PS: We took a trip to Alaska in 1991, and drove all over the state. We discovered the historic 1931 Forks Roadhouse on Mile 19 off the Parks Highway. I have fond memories of our trips and wanted to share this great Alaskan memory of the trip we enjoyed and the Forks Roadhouse sidetrip. What a trip!
