Jane died after a long illness on Friday, October 5, 2018.

She was born in Pittsfield, MA. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn Gerhardt.

Jane graduated from Pittsfield High School.

She worked as a Regional Manager for Aileen's Clothing, Virginia.

She also was the owner of the Barking Lot and Dog Grooming business.

She worked for many years as a Beautician.

Jane was an avid bird lover. She belonged to several different bird clubs and a member of the A.S.P.C.A

Survivors include her husband Conrad L. Thorwarth, her son James (Lee Davidsen) Thorwarth of Albany, her daughter Amy (Brian) Smith of Galway, her grandchildren, Nick, Cody, Adam, Kristen, several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 9:00 am at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.

Calling hours will be Sunday, October 7 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY.
