It is with the heaviest of hearts that I learned of the passing of your beloved Stan. With prayers and warm hugs to all family members. "His angel wings were ready, but our hearts were not."

Stan was a warm comforting person who always enjoyed the simple things in life. He was genuine. There were no agendas. He always made me welcome and glad to be a member of the extended Ren family. He has left behind a great legacy of which I'm sure he is proud.
I will miss his smile. May he rest in peace !

Stanley, was more than a brother...he was a best friend. When I was just a little girl I looked up to him significantly because it seemed he could do anything. Actually I still feel that way. He was my hero. When our parents went to work, Stanley at the age of eleven was left in charge of the household...that included looking after his two younger brothers and me. Stanley knew how to cook..he prepared the meals and did housework and farm work. We lived on a farm at the time and it seemed he never stopped working. I always felt safe and protected when Stanley was around. Heaven help the person who would ever hurt his little sister. He wouldn't even allow anyone to cuss around me, immediately he reprimanded the person.I can't recall Stanley complaining ...if he did it must have been very seldom. He sure had enough to complain about...his life was very difficult as a youngster and teenager. Our parents weren't the type to praise our work or accomplishments. Amazingly, Stanley seemed to develop a sense of humor and enjoyment of people during his growing up years. I was so very proud to be his sister...watching him excell in sports and academically. Everyone in school and out of school seemed to highly respect him. One of my girlfriend's who went to college at William & Smith who knew Stanley when he went to Alfred university told me how lucky I was to have him for my brother ..that everyone girls & guys thought he "was the greatest." When I married Don and we had our first child, Terry, Stanley immediately wanted to be her Godfarther. He loved children and adored our daughter. Stanley also loved to read...and this was a strong interest he shared with Don and me, Naturally he approved of Don and vice versa. The 2 guys were always talking about football and other sports. We know Stanley is in Heaven ..maybe joking around with the angels or quickly getting acquainted with the other residents. Love you my big brother..say hello to Louie, our little Felicia and Mom & Dad for us.

Uncle Stanley was a very special man - a gentle giant in size and spirit. Always kind and gracious - a great example of how to be a wonderful person. He made the world a better place and, through his example, helped others to make the world better too. He will be dearly missed in this life, but know that he has crossed over to a new life where he is being richly rewarded.

What a lovely obituary. It certainly captured the essence of my dearly loved Uncle. I so cherished the lunches that we would share periodically throughout the year. Our first lunch was probably 30 years ago - and our last was right before he moved to Malta to be nearer to his children. I always enjoyed the wonderful and thought-provoking conversation and his optimistic way of looking at the world. I am so saddened by this loss - though very blessed to have had him be a part of my life for so long. I love you Uncle Stanley - and always will.

Im so very sorry for the passing of yr dear loved one Stan, making this avery difficult day for all who knew and loved him and enjoyed his laughter and conversations. But this isnt the end, neither. What do I mean by that? Well, what I mean is that God has a plan for Stan amd even though he has passed away but isnt forgotten by all of you, his Family and friends, he isnt forgotten by God neither. You see, God will instruct his Son, Jesus Christ to resurrect yr dear love one, Stan back to life. How do we know? By what Jesus Christ had spoken about in John chapter 5:28,29 in which he is giving us a future promise of resurrecting all of our dead love ones back to life again. Amd if your ever wanting to get to know more about this wonderful hope, then feel free to visit us at jw.org amd there you will find many wonderful things that will fill yr hearts with so much joy....
