Jean died at home on Monday, December 25, 2017.


She was born in Broadalbin, NY. She was the daughter of the late William P. and Mae Eaton.


Jean came to the Saratoga Area in 1953. She graduated from the Glens Falls Hospital School of Nursing and worked at the former Maplewood Manor in Ballston Spa.


Jean was a Court Clerk for the Town of Malta for many years.


When the Town of Malta opened the New Town Hall building in 1980. She decided to go back to working at the Justice Court for the Honorable James R. Nichols, Sr. Seventeen years later, she decided to retire and that is when she and her late husband began to spend their winters on Florida for the next fifteen years.


Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ballston Spa where she spent many years working in the Food Pantry. She was also a Worthy Matron of Saratoga Chapter #131 OES.


She was predeceased by her beloved husband William H. Connor, Jr who died on May 3, 2011, her brothers, George W. Eaton, James P. Eaton, Robert D. Eaton, Roger F. Eaton, her sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Menge.


Jean is survived by her daughters Carolyn J. Della Porta of Ballston Spa, her son Robert Bloodgood of Pinehurst, North Carolina, her 5 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.


Jean will be entombed with her husband Bill at Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery.
