Syracuse, NY Anna Mae T. Mevec 88 Anna Mae died on Friday, December 8, 2017 peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side. She was born on March 9, 1929 in Wyoming, Pennsylvania. She retired from Community General Hospital as a dietician, Syracuse Anna Mae was a devout catholic. She was a long time communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Syracuse. Anna Mae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, godmother and aunt. She was predeceased by her husband Louis J. Mevec who died on January 25, 2005, her son, Robert L. Mevec who died on November 8, 2012 Anna Mae is survived by her sons Danny Mevec (Jeanne Pieklik) of Phoenix, NY and Louis Mevec of Tampa, FL; her brother, Michael Stelma; her grandchildren, Joseph, Kathryn Danielle, Martin and Louis; and several nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Our Lady of Hope, 4845 South Salina Street, Syracuse, NY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Hope, 4845 South Salina Street, Syracuse.
