Who was it that said with every interaction you leave a little piece of yourself? When I was going through a very tough time in my life my only joy was when I would walk to the Hook and Eye in downtown Ballston Spa. I loved looking through all the colorful fabrics and threads, choosing which ones I would use in the quilt I was making. I was so sad. The woman behind the counter was friendly, patient and kind. I always left feeling better than when I came in. Little did I know, until I read of Eileen's passing, that it was she, all those years ago, who gave a little piece of herself to me.
