Nellie died peacefully in her sleep in Saratoga Springs, NY on January 28, 2017.

She was born in Newport, VT.

She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Margerite Issac Howard.

Nellie loved Saratoga living: going to the track, horseracing, music, dance and movies. She was an avid piano player and loved dancing. She lit up the room, always optimistic and rarely seen without a smile.

Nellie was a member of Gurtler Brothers V.F.W. Post 420, Saratoga Springs, Ladies Auxiliary and a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Ballston Spa, NY 12020

She was predeceased by her daughter Margaret Mongeon Leonard, and her brothers Samuel and Joseph Howard.

Nellie is survived by her husband of 28 years, Kenneth C. Cramer, her children Thomas J. Mongeon of Chestertown, NY, Dennis L. Mongeon (wife, Bobbette)

of Calabash, NC, and Eva M. Mongeon (partner, Deborah Zack) of Wevertown, NY; her grandchildren: John Mongeon (wife, Marci), Patrick Mongeon, Timothy Leonard (wife, Kara) Shea Leonard, Lyndsey Rawson (partner, Patrick Ruster), Sara Rawson (partner, Matthew Mees), her great grandson Samuel Mongeon, her eight step children, eighteen step grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday February 1, 2017 at 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.

Committal service will be at a later date at Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery.
