Town Of Wilton, NY Margaret L. Porter 84 Margaret died at home with her family on Saturday, September 26, 2009. She was born in the Town Of Kingsbury, NY. She was the daughter of the late Edward Gordon and Mildred Wells Ellithorpe. She worked at Wilton Developmental Center, Wilton, NY as a Therapy Aide Margaret was past president of the Wilton Senior Citizens and was a member of the Wilton Heritage Society and Trinity United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her brothers Donald and Hubert Ellithorpe, her sisters May Ellithorpe and Beatrice Dey and her husband Joseph F. Porter Survivors include her children: Louise (James) Warrington of Wilton, Brenda (Vance) Albertson of Schuylerville, Stewart (Colleen) Porter of Wilton, Jeffery W. Porter of Moreau, Rodney (Janis) Porter of Glens Falls, Walter (Robin) Porter of North River, NY; Melanie G. Harvey of Conway, SC her sister: Marilyn (Allie) Swears of Moreau, NY and her brother: Edward (Beverly) Ellithorpe of Kingsbury, NY. Her 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her companion: Lewis Fassett. Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 30, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 12:00PM with services at 12:00PM at Wilton Funeral Home Inc., 395 Ballard Road, Wilton, NY. Committal service will follow at Gurn Springs Cemetery, Wilton, NY The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, The Wilton Heritage Society and the Wilton Fire Company For directions or to light a candle, visit us at www.mevecfuneralhome.com.
