He was born in Glens Falls, NY.
He worked as stitcher operator at Quad Graphics, Saratoga Springs.
David shared his love of the outdoors with his family. They would go 4 wheeling and fishing together. David loved old cars, Ford Mustangs and NASCAR Racing. He was a true Dallas Cowboy fan.
He was predeceased by his father William J. Thompson and brother-in-law Jeffrey Falkenbury.
Survivors include his wife Aleksandra Balle Thompson, his sons: Adam, Daniel and Aleksander Thompson, his mother Leona M. Thompson, his sisters Patricia Green, Phyllis Burnham, Peggy Falkenbury, Pam Moore, his brother Rick Moore, his nephews, Michael Fish, Jr, Joshua Fish, Lucas Turner, many other nieces, nephews, his father-in-law, Bogdan Balle, mother-in-law, Elzbieta Balle, brother-in-law, Przemyslaw Balle; sister-in-law, Joanna Leska and his best friend, Jim Garlett.
