Ballston Spa, NY Augustine (Augie) Carbone 91 Augie died at Saratoga Hospital on Friday, June 17, 2016. He was born in Ballston Spa, NY. He was the son of the late Peter and Jennie Beatrice Carbone. Augie was a local Barber for 50 Years He was Gunners Mate in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Augie was a member of the Pro Bowlers Association. He appeared many times on TV Tournament Time. He was predeceased by his wife Catherine (Kate) Carbone who died on October 10, 1999. His daughter, Jo-An Densmore, his brothers, Armeto, Angelo, Armand Carbone, his sisters, Marian Carbone, Argentine Zapolski, Janet DeSantis, his longtime companion, Mary (Molly) Sankowski Survivors include his daughter: Michele (Scott Underwood) Schneider, his sister Carmella Mangona, his grandchildren Michael (Barb) Schneider, John (Jeanette) Schneider, James (Ed) Densmore, Tim (Heather) Densmore, Angela (Terry) Ostrander, Kevin Densmore, Lisa Mauldin, Kayleigh (Sean) Hadley, his great grandchildren Hannah, Asa, Ian, Simone, Danica, Darien, A.J. and step great grandchild Corey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 9:30 am at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Committal service with military honors will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY 12020 or Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
