Obituary of Karyn P. Bliss

Dateline: Charlton, NY Karyn P. Bliss 47 Karyn died at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Born in Niskayuna, Karyn spent much of her life in Charlton and the surrounding area. She is the daughter of Gilbert and Phyllis (Rumley) Bliss. A warm and generous heart, Karyn worked as a medical receptionist, account representative, massage therapist, and her favorite job as a dedicated mother. She spent many summers with family and friends at Little Troy Park. Karyn loved to garden, crochet, to write, and her Wiccan studies. Her infectious laughter and spirit will live on in her children and in the hearts of everyone who loved her. Karyn is survived by her parents, her son Cody Reed and daughter Gillian Bliss of Charlton, her brother Brian (Laura) Bliss of Cambridge, NY and several much loved aunts, uncles, and cousins Calling Hours will be Monday February 8, 2016 from 2 PM to 4 PM followed by a memorial service at 4 PM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.
