Obituary of Peter D. Coffman

Lake Luzerne, NY Peter D. Coffman 60 Peter passed away at Albany Medical Center in Albany on Monday, August 24, 2009. He was born in Boston, MA, the son of the late John A. and Jane Diehm Coffman. He served on the Village of Greenwich Planning Board and a former member of the Middle Falls Fire Department. He was a Teacher at F. Donald Myers Educational Center, Saratoga Springs for 25 years He also served in the Army during the Vietnam War and later served in the Air National Guard, 109th Tactical Airlift. He also was a former Corinth Police Officer and a member of the Wild Pigs of Northeast New York. Survivors include his wife Judith Coffman, his daughters: Jennifer Bennett of Queensbury, Tiffany (Michael) Farrell of Greenwich, NY and his son: Peter (Johnnah) Coffman of Lake Luzerne, his grandchildren Natalie; Brandon; Arianna and Aiden; his sister Ann Berger of Maryland, his nieces Sara and Rebecca. Services will be on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 10:30 am at Wilton Funeral Home Inc., 395 Ballard Road, Wilton. Committal service with full military honors will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, August 27 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Wilton Funeral Home The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Scholarship Fund at F.
