Getzville, NY Frances Mevec Chmarney 94 Frances died on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. She was born in Yugoslavia. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Frances Petrocic Mevec Frances was a self-employed seamstress in Exeter, Pennsylvania for many years. She was predeceased by her husband John Chmarney who died on November 5, 1990. her daughter, Marlene Newman, her brothers Edward, Louis, Robert, Harold Mevec and her sister Amelia "Molly" Kurtak. Survivors include her son: John (Monica) Chmarney of Williamsville, NY her daughter: Lois Holmes of Glenmore, PA, her sister Tillie Billo of Syracuse, NY, her brother: William (Mary Ann) Mevec, Sr of Ballston Spa, NY, her grandchildren Jason (Jenni) Newman, Philip (Lori) Newman, John Chmarney, Mark Chmarney, Keith Chmarney, Lauren Holmes, many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm at St. John the Baptist Slovak Cemetery, Schooley Street, Exeter, PA.
