Obituary of Beryl D. Denton

Severance, NY Beryl D. Denton 89 Beryl died at Westmount Health Facility in Queensbury on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. She was born in Brooklyn, and raised her family on Long Island. Beryl spent her golden years in Schroon Lake nestled in the Adirondacks where she was an active member within her community and church. She was the beloved daughter of the late John and Ida Murray Washbourn. Beryl's willingness to love, care and nurture people led her to a lifelong passion for nursing. Beryl became a Professional Registered Nurse and this decision took her on a journey that was both fulfilling and rewarding. In her pastime she loved playing golf, listening to music and painting. Beryl's love for the arts showed in her everyday life. Beryl's love and devotion for her family came before all else in her life. This is a character trait she so kindly passed down to her children and grandchildren. Her unconditional love and support seemed effortless on a daily basis. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth J. Denton who died on August 20, 2010 and her brother, Jack Washbourn Survivors include her children: Scott (Lela) Denton of Queensbury, Terry (Ciro) Scotti of Ballston Spa, Matthew (Kimberly) Denton of Delmar, Pamela Seeley of Schenectady, her sister Barbara (James) Parsons, her sister in-law Sylvia Washbourn Her grandchildren, James Scotti, Jacqueline Scotti, Charles Denton, Sara Seeley, Miles Seeley, Ethan Seeley, her great grandchildren, Audrey Rose Scotti, Jordan Seeley, her nieces and nephews.
