Obituary of Kim S. Melander

BALLSTON SPA Kim S. Melander, 61, of Ballston Spa passed away on May 30th at Saratoga Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Kim grew up on Saratoga Lake with many brothers, sisters and extended family members. He had an infectious personality and a great sense of humor. He made friends wherever he went and left us with fond memories of great times. Kim was a brick and block mason by trade. He often found work doing tile and carpentry projects for friends and family. He is survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends but was closest in life to his brother Carl Melander. He is also survived by his son Kim and Daughter Wendy and his grandchildren Jillian, Nicholas and Samantha. A celebration of his life will be held at the VFW in Ballston Spa from 4pm to 9pm on Friday, June 5th
