Ballston Spa, NY Vivian P. Ebert 98 Vivian died at home May 6, 2015. She was born in Gloversville and moved to Ballston Spa at the age of 7. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Walsh Phillips. She worked at the Ackshand Mill after high school. Vivian was secretary to the Supervisors for the Town of Milton until the age of 83. Known for her baking, Vivian was often asked to bake cakes for family and friends. When it became more difficult for her to visit others, her home became a social center. Members of the Doubleday Daisy Craft Club met at her home for many years. Vivian's family is grateful for the friends and family who visited her and provided mini adventures to keep her spirits up. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas, her son, Thomas Ebert, granddaughter, Alysia Howard, her brother Henry Phillips and her sister Dora Phillips. Survivors include her daughters: Shirleyan Ebert, Marye (John) Howard and her son: Karl (Jennifer) Ebert. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.
