Shirley passed away peacefully on August 8, 2009 in her home, with her family by her side, after a strong battle with cancer.
She was the Town Clerk for the Town Of Wilton, for over 20 years.
Survivors include her husband Allen Murray, her son: Scott Murray and Daughter-in-law, Michelle Murray.
At Shirley's request, there will be no visitation or services.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Shirley's name be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
Arrangements are by Wilton Funeral Home, Wilton, NY.
