Obituary of Lucille M. Manzer

Ballston Spa, NY Lucille M. Manzer 77 Lucille passed away January 13, 2014 at Saratoga Hospital after a long fight with leukemia. She was born in Glens Falls, NY. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Nellie Austin Dake. Lucille was a strong women that enjoyed many facets of life to include bingo, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends, with a special joy of time spent with her grandchildren. She was known and loved by many. She was predeceased by her brothers Stanley and Fredrick Dake, her sisters Lorraine Pike and Eva Dake. Survivors include her husband of 57 years James W. Manzer, her children: Debra MacDonald James W. Manzer Jr, Gail (William) McDowell, and Elmer Manzer, her sisters: Kathy Mafrici, Linda Brooks, Dorothy Meyette, Wanda Seaman, Norma Freeburn, Jane Dake; her 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her close friends Charlene Stangle, Sim and Thelma Gledhill Calling hours will be Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM followed by services at 7:00 PM at Mevec Funeral Home 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY. Committal service will be 11:00 am on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery.
