Frank J. Sisto, 82 of Saratoga Springs passed on July 7, 2009
His career included both labor and management. Frank served as president of Local 444 of the N.Y.C. Sanitation Officers Union and first Deputy Commissioner and Director of Operations for former N.Y.C. Mayor Ed Koch.
His family was his life's focus.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Dorothy; his children Dan (Sue) Sisto, Kitty (Mike) Murphy, Frankie (Mike) Gabriele; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, his sister Marie Bigansky and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 10, 2009 at 12:00 PM at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa
Committal service with full military honors will follow at Saratoga National Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Frank's name be made to Esperanca, 1911 W. Earll Dr. Phoenix, AZ 85015-9985 or Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY. 12866
