Ballston Spa, NY George T. Solotruck 74 George died at home on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. He was born in Ballston Spa, NY. He was the son of the late Peter and Mary Burgess Solotruck. George was a graduate of Siena College. He also attended Seton Hall University. He was English Teacher in Patterson, NJ for ten years George worked at the former Ballston Knitting Mill, He worked at Maplewood Manor, Ballston Spa, NY as a Certified Aide. George was a poet. He was published by The International Library of Poetry, America at the Millennium in May of 2000 George was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Ballston Spa. He was predeceased by his brother Peter Solotruck. Survivors include his brother: Ronald (Diane) Solotruck of Ballston Spa, his aunt Ann (Richard) Horstman, his cousins Frederick E. Crandall, Deborah (Larry) Benson, Joseph (Jessica) Crandall, Francis (Kris) Crandall, Theresa Crandall, John Horstman, Michael Horstman, Carol Wheeler, Grace Dunker, George M. Solotruck, his niece Darci Doyle, nephew Dale Solotruck, and Several great nephews, nieces, cousins A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 9:30 am at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Calling hours will be Sunday, October 6 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY.
