Obituary of Colleen M. Ramsey

Ballston Spa, NY Colleen M. Ramsey 79 Colleen passed away quietly at Saratoga Hospital Tuesday, December 11, 2012 with her children by her side. She was born in Ballston Spa, NY. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret Rainee Willard. Colleen was a graduate of Ballston Spa High School. She worked as a secretary for New York State and the Saratoga County Department of Social Services, Ballston Spa. She was an active member of Ballston Spa Elks Lodge #2619 where she was past Bingo Chairperson and Kitchen Manager. She also was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Saratoga Springs. Colleen married Earl Ramsey on October 8, 1978. He was the love of her life and they were inseparable until his death on August 28, 2011. She loved spending time at home with her family. Survivors include her sons: Edmund (Denise) Currier, Richard (Kim) Currier and Stephen (Kathy) Currier all of Ballston Spa, Charles (Janet) Gray of Greenfield Center, her daughter: Marcy (Brian) Feeney of Ballston Lake, her brother: Jerome (Marie) Willard of Ballston Spa, her 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and special friends Charles and Patricia Gray. Services will be on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Committal service will follow at Powell-Wiswall Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, December 17 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Mevec Funeral Home, during which the Ballston Spa Elks will conduct services at 7PM.
