Karen died at Rosewood Gardens in Rensselaer on Saturday, October 20, 2012.
She was born in Troy, NY. She was the daughter of Max D. and Joan Marie Madigan Koch.
She worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for Latham Medical Group/CCP, Latham, NY
Karen was a Former Girl Scout Leader Troop 579, Malta
Survivors include her husband John Morrissey, her daughter: Ashley Minna Morrissey of Malta, her sister: Susan Adamar of Johnsonville, NY; Brother in Laws, Sister in Laws, Several Nieces and Nephews, Cousins, One Grand Niece and One Grand Nephew
Services will be on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 8:30 am at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.
Committal service will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Saratoga Springs
Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 24 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mevec Funeral Home
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211
