Obituary of Michele L. Groves

Dateline: Longwood, FL Michele L. Groves, 45, of Longwood Florida, beloved daughter of Salvatore V. and Nancy Wright Ruzzo and beloved mother of Kayla Groves and Jordan Groves died at her home on June 20, 2012. Survivors in addition to her parents and children are her sister Lisa A. Ruzzo, her nieces Jamie Antonious and Nikki Antonious, her aunt Theresa Ruzzo and her dear companion Keith Graham, as well as several cousins. Michele was born July 17, 1966 in Saratoga Springs, New York. She attended St. Mary's School in Ballston Spa K thru 8th grade. She graduated from Ballston Spa High School Class of 1984. Michele was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, A JV & Varsity cheerleader and a member of the BSHS track team. An avid swimmer, Michele taught swim lessons and was a lifeguard at the Ballston Spa pool for several years. Michele attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando and received her Bachelors degree with honors in Medical Technology. For 22 years Michele worked as a Respiratory Therapist in Florida. She was dedicated to her patients and they were very fond of her. Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa NY. The family suggests memorial contributions in the memory of Michele may be made to St. Mary's School, 40 Thompson Street, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
