Ballston Spa,NY Arlene M. Noonan 84 Arlene died at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs onTuesday, May 22, 2012. She was born in Ballston Spa, NY. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucille Smith Golden. She received her Bachelors Degree in Education from theUniversityofAlbany. Arlene was a member of the Ballston Spa Garden Club and the Ballston Spa Bridge Girls. She volunteered at the Christ Episcopal Church Food Pantry. Arlene was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Ballston Spa. She served as Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's Church and Maplewood Manor. She was predeceased by her husband Richard E. Noonan and her sister Gladys Dohig. Survivors include her children Dr. James M. Noonan and his wife Dr. Anne Marthy-Noonan of Greenfield Center, Thomas and his wife Nancy Noonan of Clifton Park, Michael and his wife Mary Karen Noonan of Albany, Mary Ann and her husband David Prendergast of Voorheesville, Francis and his wife Nancy Noonan of Rotterdam, her sister: Joan Carbone of Ballston Spa, 14 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren. Services will be onThursday, May 24, 2012 at 8:30 am at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Avenue. Committal service will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 23 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Mevec Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Dr. Ed Liebers and the staff of Saratoga Hospital D2 for their wonderful care.
