Town Of Wilton, NY Elmer E. Ellis 88 Elmer died at The Pines Nursing Home in Glens Falls on Monday, April 16, 2012. He was born in Hubbardton, VT. He was the son of the late Charles and Hazel Williams Ellis. Elmer served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He worked at Wilton Developmental Center, Wilton, NY Elmer was a member of V.F. W. Post 6196, Queensbury He was predeceased by his daughter, Mary Christine Bacon, his brothers, Leonard, Alton, Faye and Montie Nichols Survivors include his wife Mary M Ellis, his daughter: Diane (Stanley) Harris; Foster Sister, Mary Louise Pond; Foster Brothers, Albert and Robert Anderson; special friend, Pat Tennant; 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter Services will be on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 10:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, Ballard Road, Gansevoort. Committal service with military honors will follow at Gansevoort Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, April 19 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Wilton Funeral Home, 395 Ballard Road, Wilton, NY.
