Obituary of Hugh V. Barton

Hugh V. Barton 86 Hugh died at Maplewood Manor in Ballston Spa on Monday, April 16, 2012. He was born in Troy, NY. He was the son of the late George H. and Norma Van Hyning Barton. He worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Wilton Developmental Center, Wilton, NY He also served in the Navy during World War II. Hugh was a member of American Legion Post 490 Stillwater, NY. He graduated from School of Practical Nursing, Staten Island NY in 1969 He was predeceased by his first wife Verna and his brother, George Barton. Survivors include his wife Norma Barton, his sons: Norman Barton of Edinburg, NY, Charles Barton of Mechanicville, Glenn Barton of Duanesburg, Garth Barton of Porter Corners, his stepdaughter, Kimberly Sesselman of Wilton, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Committal service with full military honors will be on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville. Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 18 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Wilton Funeral Home, 395 Ballard Road, Wilton, NY.
