Steven J. Brahm, 60 died Monday, February 20, 2012 inLevittown,NY after a long illness. Born in Brooklyn,NY to Anthony and Brigida (Sala) Brahm, Steve later grew up in Levittown,NY. In 1967 Steve moved to Saratoga Springs,NY graduating from Saratoga High School in 1969. He immediately began a forty two year career at Matt's Servicenter which ended in the spring of 2011 due to advancing prostate cancer. Steve enjoyed bowling, Sunday naps on the couch and he especially loved playing softball in theSaratoga co-ed and fast pitch leagues. He was most proud of the fact that he was still playing softball at the age of fifty nine. When his sons were younger, Steve coached their little league teams and was their den leader in cub scouts. In the early nineteen seventies, Steve enjoyed drag racing his baby, his orange dodge demon, on some of the local roads. Steve was predeceased by his parents Brigida Brahm and Anthony & Mary (Errante) Brahm, his brother Anthony Brahm, his sister Georgia (Errante) Radebolt, his godfather Melvin-Uncle Frank Klingenbeck and his cousin Kathleen Klingenbeck. Steve is survived by his sons Joseph (Jara) Brahm of Las Vegas, NV, Anthony (Glenda) Brahm of Wilton, his daughter Madison Brahm of Wilton, his granddaughter Keiko Brahm of Las Vegas NV and soon-to-be-born grandson of Wilton, his brothers Louis Brahm, Salvatore(Ruthann) Errante and Nicholas (Nanette) Errante, his sisters Maryann (Errante) Frazer, Marie Brahm and Linda (Errante (John) Blaney. Steve was also a cherished uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is also survived by his former wife Sharon Dow-Donnelly of Wilton. Calling Hours will be on Friday March 2, 2012from 4 to 7 PM at Wilton Funeral Home,395 Ballard Road,Wilton.
