Dennis died at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 6, 2011.
He was born in Queens, NY.
He was Correction Officer at Mt McGregor Correctional Facility retiring in 2008
Survivors include his wife of 28 years Barbara Monahan Ratner, his sister-in-law, Karen Schwartzman and her husband Paul, his brother-in-laws, Edward Monahan and his wife Donna, Daniel Monahan his wife Roberta, Several nieces and nephews, special friend, Aileen Morris; Special Pets friends Mel, Brutus, Kitty.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday December 10, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the home of Barbara Ratner.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society National Upstate New York Chapter, 421 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 or Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
