Wilton, NY Henry Peter Young 73 Henry died at Saratoga Hospital with his loving wife at his side on Thursday, September 29, 2011. He was born in Schuylerville, NY and was the son of the late Peter and Victoria Seney Young. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1961. Henry worked at NYSERDA in Albany, NY. Henry enjoyed sailing his boat on Saratoga Lake. Henry and Arlene enjoyed gardening. Together they grew peaches, plums, raspberries and of course many heirloom vegetables. He was known for growing the largest garlic. He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Young, sisters Anne Morrison and Veronica Sherman. Survivors include his wife Arlene Young, his children Henry Peter Young Jr of Wilton, Sarah (Ed) Allen of Lake Luzerne, NY, Catherine (Anthony Potente) Young of Ballston Spa, Susan Gonino and Joseph (Anita) Gonino both of Liberty, Missouri and David (Susan) Gonino of Jacksonville, Florida; his sisters: Mary Saiken and Millie Rieger; Six grandchildren, Two great grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews. Full military honors will on Wednesday October 5, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY. Arrangements are by Wilton Funeral Home.
