Dorothy died on July 2, 2013 at Saratoga Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Henry A. and Myra Hayes Kappes.
Dorothy was a homemaker and devoted mother. She was an avid Bingo player and loved to spend summers at Hulett's Landing on Lake George.
She was predeceased by her husband Andrew R. Hotmer, Jr.
Dorothy is survived by her sons Harold (Sharon) Hotmer of Saratoga Springs, Richard (Annette) Hotmer of Granville, NY, Ronald (Tonya) Hotmer of Salt Lake City, Utah, Dean Hotmer of Glens Falls, Gene (Karen) Hotmer of South Glens Falls, her Brother John Kappes of Long Island, NY, her grandchildren Julia, Larry, Andy, Kathleen, Nicole, Lyndsey, Lauren, Amie Lynn, Eric, Jon, Alicia and many great grandchildren.
Services for Dorothy will be private.
