He was the son of the late Raymond and Jean Lesch Gross, Jr. He worked as an Administrator at New York State Workers Compenstion, Menands, NY Richard was a member of Colonie B.P.O.E. 2192. An avid volleyball player of 35 years, He competed in the NYS Empire Games, the Huntsman Games, U.S.A. Nationals and U.S.A. Volleyball Open. He enjoyed spreading his love of the game through coaching at the J.V. level. His greatest joys were time spent with his family, motorcycle riding, camping, and boating. He was predeceased by his daughter, Becky Gross and brother in law James Piche. Survivors include his wife of 45 years Patricia Gross, his sons: Derek Gross, Randy Gross, Jason Gross; his sisters: Donna (Joseph) Adamkiewicz of Ghent, NY, Darlene Miller of New Port Richey, FL, Dawn Piche of Lansingburgh, NY his brothers: Robert (Ann) Gross of Norfolk, VA, Raymond (Edie) Gross of Rotterdam, NY, Ronald (Leila) Gross of Chesapeake, VA and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 12:00 pm at The Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY Family suggests Memorial contributions be made to Richard J.
