Ballston Spa, NY Lynn D. Purdy, Jr 48 Lynn died on Monday, May 6, 2013. He was born in Saratoga Springs, NY. He was the son of Lynn D. and Ann P. Bartlett Purdy, Sr. Lynn was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked as a Carpenter for Parker & Hammond Construction, Queensbury, NY Lynn was a basketball coach for the B.A.R.C. Program, Ballston Spa Pop Warner football coach, a New England Patriots fan and an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife Donna K. Purdy, his daughters: Danielle Purdy, Ashley Purdy, his son: John Purdy all of Ballston Spa his sisters: Lisa (Michael) Nygard of Ballston Spa, Tina (Gary) Spaulding of Rotterdam, his brothers: James (Christine) Purdy of Stillwater, Michael (Al) Purdy of Saratoga Springs, Randy (Carrie) Purdy of Ballston Spa and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 9 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Mevec Funeral Home Inc., 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa during which services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Committal service with full military honors will be 10:30 am on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Gerald B.H.
