Carlton died at Saratoga Hospital on Saturday, December 22, 2012.
He was born in Staten Island, NY. He was the son of the late Russell and Sarah Hogarth Decker.
He also served in the Navy during World War II.
He was a Deckhand for Great Lakes Dredging and Docking Co. New York, NY
Carlton was dedicated to his family and was always available to help others.
He was predeceased by his wife Joan Learning Decker
Survivors include his daughters: Linda (John) Manolakis of Ballston Spa, Janice (Kenneth) Jagadowski; his brother: Joel Decker of Baltimore, MD; his 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Friday, December 28, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 1:00PM followed by services at 1:00 PM at Mevec Funeral Home, 224 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY.
Committal service with military honors will follow at Ballston Spa Cemetery.
